Missoma
Located in one of London's most romantic districts, Notting Hill, the Missoma workshop designs and crafts exceptional jewellery that always gets our hearts racing. Missoma creations don't just look great; they inspire us, too. Exuding creativity and confidence, the high-end costume jewellery imagined by Marisa Hordern is a pledge of quality at an affordable price. In fact, when the designer founded her house in 2007, it was because she noticed a gap in the market - between costume jewellery and fine jewellery. So she set her sights on semi-precious stones, which she imagined wearing in day-to-day life, assembled on elegant golden jewellery full of finesse. A risky bet, for sure, but one that quickly paid off: Missoma designs have attracted a legion of adoring fans. Creative, cheeky and fun, they are environmentally friendly too. As you may expect, Missoma is committed to doing its bit for the planet: its materials are sustainably sourced and its jewellery responsibly designed with 100% recycled silver and gold vermeil, earning it the prestigious “RJC” certification awarded by the Responsible Jewellery Council.
Style-wise, Missoma lies somewhere between minimalism and maximalism. While its golden jewels are delicate and fine, the House advocates stacking and layering its looks: necklaces are worn in two or three rows and earring styles are mixed together for a bold yet stylish touch. Whether you have one, two, or three ear piercings, Missoma earrings look good in them all. From the colourful Neon Agua Squiggle to mini-huggies with charms (golden smiley, multicoloured heart, or a Mini Pyramid adorned with amazonite or rhodochrosite), it's up to you to put your stamp on the set that you love. In a similar vein, the golden Jelly Heart rings feature rose quartz hearts and the enamelled Good Vibes boast colourful flowers. Equally addictive, we couldn't possibly overlook Missoma's pendant necklaces: punctuated with positive messages, they will bring your look a burst of light - and a positive attitude to boot.
